Building Black Wealth: From Pensacola And Beyond, BantuCola’s Founder Chris Hendricks Is Creating The Future

Be Black. Buy Black. Think Black. Everything else will take care of itself.
—  Honorable Marcus Garvey

Even in the midst of a detrimental pandemic and an economic downturn, there is still a beacon of light that shines in the south. By way of Pensacola, Florida, you will find a passionate servant of the community by the name of Chris Hendricks.

Hendricks is the founder of BantuCola and he is determined to remedy the holes and gaps within the infrastructure of black communities across the nation. His hometown of Pensacola is ground zero and they have already begun to uncover the needs of the people through identifying what type of businesses could be a necessity for the entire community. “We want everyday businesses within the black community,”  Hendricks stated.

Black businesses, especially in the south, are saturated with restaurants, and for good reason. It’s in our culture to celebrate some of the most delicious cuisines. Have you ever thought about having a specialty store that could possibly provide ‘farm to table’ produce, meat, and other essential products?

BantuCola: Providing the Southern Black Community With Pillars to Stand On and Principles to Build On

BantuCola is a game-changing force to usher in more black-owned stores and essential businesses. From Asher and Bee Apothecary to The Busy Bee Mercantile and General Store, Hendricks is on a journey to see the dreams of others become tangible in its best form.

As a result of the call for justice and economic disadvantages to people of color across the United States, BantuCola was born at a very progressive time. Through group economic promotion with BantuCola, area businesses have been able to witness an increase of profit as they continue to set goals and strategies.

As a husband, father, and man of faith, Hendricks’ admiration stems from BantuCola’s Pillars to Stand On like faith, history, mental health, professional education, and others. Further, BantuCola is founded on 7 Principles to Build On which provide “wisdom and economic freedom for our children and generations to come,” including practicing self-love, pursue learning an African language, and Mt1N -- Many tribes One Nation.

A strategic plan of action and knowing generations to come are set with the tools needed to create and sustain wealth within the black community is BantuCola’s love language.

We have to create visions, missions, and thought processes that are going to outlast you.
— Chris Hendricks

In fact, BantuCola is a search engine that enables users to find various businesses and resources you might need on a day-to-day basis.
